The Trouble with Being the Witch-finder General

Have you ever wondered why it is that after 40 years or so of relentless feminist campaigning, the situation with regard to domestic violence has still not improved any? We are still told that one in four women will be assaulted by her male partner at some time in her life, and this despite millions of dollars in funding, countless shelters, endless campaigns, years of sensitivity-training courses, all apparently to no avail. What is going on there? Why has the DV industry apparently made no impact? Shouldn’t we be seeing substantial results by now? If this was a private sector contractor being paid to do a job, they would have been fired years ago.

Even worse, once you start looking into it, you realise that a lot of these DV industry ‘facts’ and ‘statistics’ are actually fabricated. One in four women will be assaulted by her male partner at some time in her life. Women are more likely to be assaulted by their male partners when they are pregnant. Men assault women more during the Superbowl. It used to be the law that a man could beat his wife with a stick no thicker than his thumb. Every year in the US, 100,000 women die of anorexia nervosa. One in three girls is sexually abused by her father. All lies. All fabrications.

How can we make sense of this? Isn’t the women’s movement trying to address genuine social problems? Don’t they want to see a solution as soon as possible?

Let me tell you a story.

Chapter 1
The year is 1450. The Witch-finder General has been summoned to Rome for an audience with the His Holiness the Pope.

“Witch-finder, you have been in my service for five years now. How many witches have you found?”

“None, your Grace”

“None?”

“Not one, your Grace”.

“Well, have you looked?”

“Certainly your Grace, I have sent my spies all over Christian Europe on the fastest steeds. We looked everywhere. We found no witches at all.”

The Pope thinks: There are two possibilities here. Either there are no witches in Europe, in which case, I don’t need a Witch-finder General. Or alternatively, there are plenty of witches in Europe, but this guy is too stupid to find them.

“You’re fired. Get out”.

Chapter 2
The year is 1450. The Witch-finder General has been summoned to Rome for an audience with the His Holiness the Pope.

“Witch-finder, you have been in my service for five years now. How many witches have you found?”

“Well, your Grace, in the first year, I found ten thousand, and put them all to death. In the second year I found two thousand. In the third year, five hundred. Last year, seventeen, this year none at all”.

“None at all?”

“Law of diminishing returns, your Grace. We have to look ever harder to find ever-fewer”.

“Well, witch-finder, your mission is complete. You have cleansed Europe of heresy. I release you from my service. You have earned the gratitude of Christians everywhere”.

“Thank you, your Grace”.

“That will be all. Get out”

Chapter 3
The year is 1450. The Witch-finder General has been summoned to Rome for an audience with the His Holiness the Pope.

“Witch-finder, you have been in my service for five years now. How many witches have you found?”

“Well, your Grace, in the first year, I found ten thousand, and put them all to death. In the second year I found fourteen thousand, then nineteen thousand. Last year we put to death twenty-eight thousand heretics and confiscated their property in the name of the Mother church. This year, it was even more. Thirty-six thousand.”

“How can you explain the fact that heresy appears to be on the increase, Witch-finder?”

“Your Grace, the agents of Satan are all around us. The Christian world is under attack. My men are also more experienced now at detecting witches, so consequently we uncover more that we previously might have missed.”

“I see. And what would you have me do, Witch-finder?”

“Your Grace, we desperately need more men. We need weapons, horses. I’m not sure if I can stem the evil tide.”

“Hmmm. Secretary!”

“Yes, your Grace?”

“Give the Witch-finder General another ten thousand gold ducats”

The moral of the story is this. The trouble with being the Witch-finder general is that you have to keep on finding more witches, otherwise you are out of a job. The obvious way to do this is to keep casting your net ever-wider, keep redefining what you mean by the word 'witch'. All heterosexual sex is rape. As long as feminists are in control, rape, domestic violence and child abuse will never end. They will continue to grow.

Female Paedophile Set Free by Judge

A story in The Sun (Sat Jul 8, 2006, p4) describes how 45-year-old Julie Lowe, a railway worker from Lutterworth in Leicestershire, was convicted of possessing child pornography. The story states that the images and videos featured children "as young as five...in scenes of bondage sex and sado-masochism". She said she had downloaded the images out of curiosity, but in fact they were downloaded over a 2-year period. This was not an accident.

Astonishingly, Judge Christopher Plunkett at Leicester Crown Court decided not to jail her, but instead gave her a three-year community rehabilitation order, 100 hours community service, and ordered her to attend a sex offenders' treatment program. The leniency of this sentence is incomprehensible. What would a man have got in the same position? Jail-time for sure. Plunkett must have let her off because she is a woman. What other possible rationale is there? The article did not call her a paedophile either. I have not been able to find this story listed online anywhere.

I did google on Plunkett's name to see if he has a history of this kind of leniency, and I found that he did in fact jail Anita Debnath, the 'One Night Stand Stalker' for 4 years. This piece of work had a one night stand with an ex-colleague in 2001 and then proceeded to stalk and harass him over a 4 year period. She tried to take out £400,000 in loans in his name and that of his fiance. She apparently followed the couple on holiday to Venezuela. She also asked other people to intimidate the pair and their relatives. She paid hackers to break into his computer and spread vicious rumours by e-mail. She also registered her victim on websites without him knowing - including a link with gay prisoners that resulted in him receiving a pornographic letter from an inmate in the United States.

This one is obviously a danger to the public, particularly men, and deserves to be behind bars. Shame Plunkett didn't feel the same way about Julie Lowe.
